Twelve members of the Four Seasons Garden Club met July 1 at the home of Jean Long for a tour of
her gardens and a program on drying flowers.Long showed the members how she picks the flowers, puts them in
bunches and hangs them on drying racks for two to three weeks and then uses them to a make wreaths and other
arrangements.Roll call was answered by naming a flower each members has dried.The Pemberville Fair Flower
Show was discussed. More assignments were made for niches, tables and work schedule. Set up time is Aug. 12
at 6:30 p.m. Tear down is Aug. 20 at 9 p.m.The September meeting will be a tea party at the Pemberville
Library. Members are encouraged to wear hats and gloves.
