Rudolph/Libbe Inc. has been honored with a prestigious 2011 Build Ohio Award for its work on the Wolfe
Center for the Arts at Bowling Green State University. The awards were announced Nov. 18 by the
Associated General Contractors of Ohio in Columbus.
The project won top honors in the category of New Construction $7 million to $20 million. Rudolph/Libbe
served as general trades contractor for the 97,000-square-foot performing arts building, which includes
a state-of-the-art main theater, actors’ theater, rehearsal rooms, scene and costume shops, 12
classrooms and performance spaces.
Rising from the ground at a dramatic 6-degree angle inspired by Northwest Ohio’s glacial history, the
relatively small metallic-siding and glass building is designed to accommodate Broadway-quality
productions and provide students with the best possible education in the performing arts.

Build Ohio is an annual awards competition that honors members of the Associated General Contractors of
Ohio for excellence in construction. A panel of retired construction professionals selected winners
based on Build Ohio criteria: excellence in project management, innovation in construction techniques or
