HASKINS – David T. Daniels, the director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture will be the speaker at
July’s Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum.
The forum is Thursday from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Daniels, who was appointed in 2012, will speak on current and future issues surrounding the state of
agriculture in Ohio.
Daniels administers numerous regulatory, food safety and consumer protection programs for the state.
Food and agriculture remains the leading industry in Ohio, adding more than $105 billion to the economy
each year.
Networking starts at 8 a.m. Daniels will begin his presentation at 8:30.
The cost is $10 and can be paid by check or cash at the door. An all-you-can-eat buffet is included.
The forum is held at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, located at 13737 Middleton Pike (Ohio 582).
