TOLEDO – The food industry in Ohio is huge. More than 60,000 people work at nearly 1,000 food and
beverage companies across the state. The industry ships more than $24 billion worth of products every
year. Such impressive numbers make Ohio one of the nation’s leaders in food/beverage processing and
agribusiness.
On March 6, from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., the Center for Innovative Food Technology, the Food Innovation
Center at The Ohio State University, and the Ohio Manufacturing
Extension Partnership have partnered to host representatives from food-related businesses at the
NorthPointe Hotel and Conference Center for the Ohio Food Industry Expo – a full day where companies can
discover new techniques, learn of innovative trends, and identify valuable resources that will
strengthen one of Ohio’s already strong and vital industries.
This event features numerous industry specialists.
"The feedback we continue to receive is how important it is to many that we hold this expo,"
David Beck, president and CEO stated.
The registration fee is $125 per person for non-CIFT members, and $75 for CIFT members.
