4-H Spirit Night tonightThe Wood County 4-H Extension Office will hold its annual Spirit Night
tonight at the Junior Fair Building, beginning with social time at 7 p.m.Awards will include the
presentation of the champion livestock projects for each of the animal species. These prestigious awards
were formerly presented during the Wood County Fair, however, in recent years are now part of Spirit
Night.The winners receive a director’s chair recognizing their accomplishment. Students earn the chair
through multiple activities including skill-a-thons, a personal interview and showing their animals at
the annual county fair.Numerous ther awards will be presented. Pictures of the top winners and a story
on the accomplishments will be published in a future edition.
