Rahrig, Davidson named Eastwood royalty

PEMBERVILLE — Eastwood High School crowned Annalesa Rahrig as its homecoming queen and Andrew Davidson as
king at its winter homecoming festivities Friday.
Rahrig participates in softball, choir and Encore, Tri-M, the school musical and district honors choir.
She plans to attend Bowling Green State University to study nursing. She’s the daughter of Douglas and
Carla Rahrig.
Davidson is vice president of the international club and also play soccer. He works at Subway and plans
to attend BGSU to major in sports management. He’s the son of Greg Davidson and Jenn Davidson.
Also on the court were seniors Michaela Bunge, Andrew Blair, Maddie Jackson, Ryan Mang, Vernita
Booth-Bonn and Victor Kern; juniors Veronica Sholey and Lucas Friess; sophomores Haven Flores and Samuel
Church; and freshmen Annika Barrow and Nick Radabaugh.
Bunge plays varsity softball and varsity gold, and is a member of student council, People Inc., Key Club,
and FCA. She also is a member of the spring musical and Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She plans to attend Eastern Michigan University to study nursing. Her parents are Jerry Bunge and Beth
Pease.
Blair has played football for four years and is a former member of the choir and Encore. He plans to
attend Owens Community College to study nursing then transfer to the University of Toledo. He’s the son
of Karen Blair.
Jackson is a member of People Inc., student council, National Honor Society, senior executive council and
the musical. She also is a student mentor and competes in cross country and track. She plans to enroll
at BGSU or the University of Findlay and major in childhood education. She’s the daughter of Jeff and
Jennifer Jackson.
Mang is the son of Marty and Becky Mang. He plays football and baseball for the Eagles. He plan to attend
college to study health science.
Booth-Bonn and Kern represented Penta Career Center.
Booth-Bonn is in the medical technologies program and is active in HOSA, Teen Institute and Skills USA.
She plans to become an RN. She’s the daughter of Vernita Booth and Jason Zedaker.
Kern is in the culinary program at Penta and also is involved in Skills USA. He works at Super Suppers in
Perrysburg and plans to attend the Culinary Institute of America. He’s the son of Steven and Jennifer
Kern.
Sholey is a member of the varsity dance team, band and pit band, and Tri-M. She also participates in
dance at the Dance Factory and Pointman youth group. She works as a lifeguard at the Pemberville pool
and plans to study at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, and become a sign language interpreter.
She’s the daughter of Leroy Sholey and Gayla Sholey.
Friess competes in football, indoor and outdoor track and weightlifting, and is a member of National
Honor Society and Key Club. He works at McDonald’s in Woodville and plans to attend college and study
pre-med. His parents are Andy Friess and Jodie Friess.
Flores participates in Key Club, track and soccer. The daughter of Stacey and Macey Flores, she plans to
attend Washington State University and study zoology.
Church participates in Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, cross country, indoor and outdoor
track, and his church youth group. He’s the son of Ben and Monica Church.
Barrow participates in the drama club and the school musical, as well as choir. She’s a member of Dowling
Stitch, Stir and Stock 4-H club, Faith United Methodist Church, and volunteers for the after-school
program and Pemberville Public Library.
She’s the daughter of Frank and Kathy Barrow.
Radabaugh participates in football, wrestling, track, band and jazz band, and also is in Boy Scouts. His
parents are Mark and Paula Radabaugh.
