Lee named asst. high school director at Penta

PERRYSBURG – The Penta Career Center board held a special meeting Monday to act on a number of employment
issues along with other business.
Ryan Lee resigned from his position as supervisor of academics to accept the post of assistant director
at the high school, and was given a three-year contract, through June 2017, at a $92,585 salary.
Also hired were Cynthia Covington, adult financial and instructional support specialist, $49,995; Tonya
Kessinger, supervisor, $84,907; Debra Morris, ABLE program coordinator, $59,500; and Carrie Soellner,
math instructor, $61,511.
Earlier this month the board approved the hiring of Sean Baney, public safety/fire EMT instructor,
$41,335; Brian Carroll, business/marketing concepts instructor, $41,335; Diane Keesecker, sophomore
exploratory-human services lab instructor, $46,192; Rebecca Knapp, job training coordinator/Project
SEARCH, $52,376; Branden May, science instructor, $61,511; Phillip Stockwell, assistant supervisor
student affairs, $64,983; and Kara Williams, math instructor, $56,958.
The board also increased the student breakfast costs to $1.50 from $1.30; and set new pricing for adult
education classes. The cost of all classes went up.
