PERRYSBURG – Way Library continues to offer programs specifically for homeschooled boys and girls. Here
is what is being presented in April.
Book Talk is taking place on April 14 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 8-12. The book under discussion will be
"The Castle in the Attic" by Elizabeth Winthrop. This tells the story of a young boy who is
presented with a gift of a toy castle complete with a miniature knight. Surprisingly the knight comes to
life leading William into adventures he never expected. Boys and girls are to sign up at the Youth
Services Desk where copies of the book are available for check-out.
Afternoon Adventures is being presented on April 21 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 5-7. In honor of Earth Day,
children will learn about global warming, especially the effect it has on polar bears. Online
registration is required.
History Hikers is being offered on April 28 at 1:30 p.m. for ages 8-12. The topic of discussion will be
Germany. This program consists of a variety of activities including a presentation by a staff member who
has lived in Germany. Online registration is required.
