Way Library offers computer classes

PERRYSBURG – Way Library is offer two computer classes this week.
On Monday from 6 to 7 p.m., the library’s technology staff will conduct a workshop on how to purchase the
right tablet or computer for your needs. The cost of buying a new computer has been plummeting, and many
people are considering either upgrading from an older model or changing to a tablet computer. Way
Library’s free workshop will provide helpful information about hardware specifications, operating
systems, form factors and other features that are important to consider when purchasing a computer.
The workshop is free of charge and open to the public with no registration required. Refreshments will be
served.
On Wednesday, a monthly tech discussion group will start for those who use Apple technologies.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the group will meet monthly on the last Wednesday of the month until 6:30 p.m.
Apple device users are invited to share experiences and learn new uses for Apple devices.
Topics to be discussed include: Wednesday, taking and managing pictures and Bluetooth technology; July
30, Apple TV and a guest presentation; Aug. 27, customizing your phone and a guest presentation.
Each class includes time for peer networking.
No registration is required.
