Greenwood OESA dinner at Panera preceded the Nov. 5 meeting.Worthy Matron Denise Zephier
opened with theme information on the Wiping of the Tears, a ceremony performed one year after a loved
one’s death. It provide prayers to nourish the mourners spiritually, spiritual food for physical
nourishment, words and hugs of comfort. The chanupa is ceremonially smoked and tears are ceremonially
wiped away. A meal is then shared and a give-away is done.Zephier offered Lakota proverbs.The
rescheduled Lia Sophia jewelry party will now be held Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapter dining room.
This is open to all members and guests. A small elevator at the rear of the building takes you to the
third floor. The party will benefit the district 3Gs committee who raise funds to benefit line grand
officer Gail Walsh, now worthy grand matron of the Grand Chapter of Ohio.Moonlighters Club will meet
prior to the jewelry party, at 6:30.The regional school of instruction is Nov. 23. Contact 2014 Worthy

will join with Wood County Lodge in the Bowling Green holiday parade on Nov. 23. Anyone interested in
