Alpha Zeta Master
On April 22, six members of Alpha Zeta Master Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi International held their regular
meeting at Bowling Green Country Club.
After a luncheon, President Colleen Smith called the meeting to order. She received information regarding
the International Convention, to be held Aug. 4-7 in Kansas City, Mo. International will be celebrating
the organization’s 85th anniversary and has also sent the chapter a book entitled "The Stars Shine
Through" by Lynn Terry.
This book, signed by members of International, will be presented to the family of Nancy Germann in the
near future.
Betty Goodman read a thank you from Terri Mercer for money donated to First Step for Easter.
Linda Harden read the minutes from the April 7 City Council meeting. Several cheer cards and a couple
sympathy cards have been sent to members or their families.
The social committee reminded the members of Founder’s Day and Rituals being held on April 27 at the
Bowling Green Country Club.
The group has chosen June 24 as the day to enjoy Hollywood Casino.
The next business meeting will May 13 at the Bowling Green Country Club. The Program Committee will
present the program for Mother’s Day.
