Middleton Twp. Homemakers
On March 3, eight members attended a class at Ben Franklin Crafts in Bowling Green, where they learned to
make a wreath.
Each women chose the color of the materials to make her wreath. The supplies used were a wire ring, pipe
cleaners and deco mesh. The deco mesh was available in several different colors.
The group then headed for Lola’s Frozen Yogurt, also on South Main Street, for dessert. Even though it
was cold outside, members still enjoyed their frozen yogurt.
The next club meeting will be held April 7 at the home of Miriam Aufdenkamp, with Betty Wenig as
co-hostess. Middleton Homemakers will have a silent auction of baked goods and household items. This
will help to build up the club treasury.
Lybarger-Grimm Legion Unit 441
TONTOGANY -The auxiliary’s March 5 potluck meeting was held at the home of Rita Euler with seven members
present. It was opened by President Patti Wires.
2014 membership dues are still being accepted. The unit is short of goal as paid memberships are
currently at 103 and goal is 117, so send dues to Wires at P.O. Box 153, Tontogany, OH 43565.
A thank you card from Alan Current on the passing of his brother Gary was read.
Poppies have been received and given to Poppy Chairman Euler for distribution. She is working on getting
2014 Little Miss and Mr. Poppy.
Myra Creel is to get information on the local Wounded Warrior Project and report at the next meeting.

Anna Kaiser has been elected as delegate to Buckeye Girls State.
Any veteran interested in going on the Honor Flight trip should contact Wires at 419-823-4233 or Euler at
419-823-5151. The auxiliary has funds to help pay for the trip.
The American Legion Birthday Party will be held March 22 at the post home. Serving help is needed;
contact Wires.
The first banquet for 2014 is April 26. Anyone who can help prepare or serve is asked to contact Wires.
The next unit meeting will be April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Euler’s.
