Texas guitarist Jim Suhler and
Monkeybeat will bring the rhythm and twang of blues-based rock to
Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main St., Bowling Green, Saturday.
Suhler and his band are no strangers to town. They’ve played Grounds
before as well as the 2011 Black Swamp Arts Festival where the
guitarist, above, played his resonator guitar with a slide on the
acoustic stage. When not touring with Monkeybeat, Suhler plays lead and
rhythm guitar with George Thorogood and the Destroyers.
