Big third quarter lifts Eastwood past Maumee

PEMBERVILLE – Eastwood opened the third quarter with a 16-0 run on the way a 66-50 victory over Maumee Saturday evening in a boys non-league game.

“It’s nice, because last year we were inexperienced. This year I thought we were a little more calm and were ready to play. We also had a little bit more focus,” Eastwood head coach Todd Henline said about the Eagles season-opener. “It’s a good way to start the season."
