Protest asks for 'no more pork for FirstEnergy'

A giant inflatable pig will be the star of Monday’s planned protest against legislation to impose “a customer-funded bailout” of two FirstEnergy Solutions nuclear power plants.

According to an Ohio Citizen Action press release, the public is invited to join Bowling Green-area elected officials and leaders from Ohio’s largest consumer and advocacy communities on Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Wooster Green. Ohio Consumers Power Alliance is also involved.
