Not In Our Town event promotes accepting differences in others

More than 50 people marched from the city to campus in the 4th annual Not in Our Town Peace March on Wednesday.

Bowling Green State University President Rodney Rogers opened the event at Wooster Green in the city’s downtown and Bowling Green Mayor Dick Edwards spoke at the BGSU Union Oval, where the march concluded. Dawn Shinew, a co-chair of NIOT, said the speakers and location were intentional.
