Tuesday’s primary election saw four female at-large council candidates move on in Bowling Green, the passage of local school issues and a split in municipal tax levies.

Democrats moving on to November’s general election, upon vote certification, are Sandy Rowland and Holly Cipriani. The women had 47.62 percent and 20.12 percent of the vote, respectively, with Mark Hollenbaugh receiving 19.6 percent and Robert Piasecki finishing with 12.65 percent, according to the Wood County Board of Elections.
