Flint whistleblower: 'I no longer say water is safe anywhere'

When it comes to water, the United States can do better, according the whistleblower in the Flint crisis and the author of the Bowling Green State University Common Reads.

“I no longer say water is safe anywhere, not in Flint, not in Toledo, not in Detroit, no matter where I am because now that I have really come to understand the regulations, they don’t really protect public health,” said Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, a pediatrician, professor and public health advocate, who spoke Tuesday at BGSU.
