Chip Myles will make his last pizza on Sunday. After 39 years in business, Myles’ Pizza Pub will close this weekend, Chip and his wife, Bridget, announced this morning. “This is our last week,” Chip Myles said. “It’s just time for me to move on. It’s been a good run.” The building, which has been for sale for two years, sold on Friday. Myles said the sale was done through a lawyer, and he does not know who purchased the restaurant at 516 E. Wooster St. As of today, the Wood County Auditor website still lists Myles & Myles Partnership as the owner. Myles said the pizza sauce recipe — which is revered by townies and Bowling Green State University alumni alike — will stay with him and his family.
