PERRYSBURG — Safety and security loom large, as a special board of education meeting will be held Thursday to answer questions related to performance audit recommendations being released that day.

“There will be recommendations in it. If you look at past performance audits in the state, one of the things that comes up in every single school district, for example, is changes in collective bargaining agreements,” Superintendent Tom Hosler said. “Even if we looked at the audit and said Yes, we are going to do every one of these things,’ you can’t, because there are collective bargaining agreements.”
