Two Bowling Green students have been diagnosed with the same rare disease within two years.

Senior Kloe Atwood and fourth-grader Mackenzie Maxey have been surviving juvenile myositis together. The students are spearheading the district’s second Cure JM volleyball game, scheduled for Monday. The event will begin with the freshmen volleyball game at 4:30 p.m.. Junior varsity and varsity games will immediately follow.
