The Black Swamp Arts Festival takes a broad view of art that includes the craft of beer creation.
There are two different ways to approach beer drinking at the festival, the Standard Beer Tent and the Art of Beer event.
The Art of Beer runs from noon-6 p.m. in the Beer Garden, adjacent to the main stage and on the corner of North Prospect and Clough streets.
A $10 tasting card allows for six 5 ounce craft beer samples and an $18 tasting card buys 12 samples.
The tasting menu will include:
Blake’s Traffic Jam Cider, a fruited cider with blackberry, raspberry, strawberry flavors. All berries are grown on the Blake farm in Michigan.
Deschutes Lil Squeezy, a pale ale brewed to reduce gluten.
Earnest Brew Works Oktoberfest, a traditional marzen style Oktoberfest
Earnest Brew Works Crunchy Hippie, a granola brown ale with flax, chia, granola and berries.
