Judith Reazin, 81, of Pemberville, OH, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born on October 8, 1942, in Detroit, MI, to John and Jean (Sutherland) Hurld. On August 18, 1990 Judith married Ronald Reazin, and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2021. Judith and Ronald celebrated over 21 years of marriage together before Ronald’s passing.
She had been an LPN for over 50 years and decided in later life to return to college and receive her bachelor’s degree in Gerontology and practiced for over 25 years before retiring. Judith wasn’t one to sit still and started her own sewing business called Soft Stuff for over 30 years. She made hand craft items, enjoyed playing cards, board games along with cooking and baking. Judith believed in supporting local businesses and also the local arts and theater. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with family and her spoiled cat “Loki.”
Judith is survived by daughter, Tammy (Mark) Burmeister and son: Michael (Christa Thompson) Best, both of Pemberville; stepson: Ronald (Lori) Reazin of Miamisburg, OH; stepdaughter, Anita (Steve) Jackson of Round Rock, TX; 9 grandchildren; brother, John (Patricia) Hurld of Silver Springs, MD; brother-in-law, Carl Reimer of Clawson, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Mary Reimer and niece, Donna Pettorosi.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from Noon until 1 pm at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105. Pemberville, OH. A celebration of Judiths life will be held immediately following the visitation.
