Free and open to the public, the monthly drive-thru community meal and food distribution hosted by First Christian Church of Bowling Green, 875 Haskins Road, is Friday.
This month’s menu features pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, fruit and cookies. There will also be a food bag and toiletries distribution. All are welcome and there is no charge.
To participate in this monthly event, arrive between 5 and 6 p.m. at the parking lot and remain in your car. Volunteers will take the order, hand deliver the meal(s), and direct you to the groceries, bread and pastries.
Support is from St. Thomas More University Parish of Bowling Green, BG Christian Food Pantry, First Presbyterian Church, the Sweet Shop and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
