West Wooster closures announced

In conjunction with the West Wooster Street utility upgrade project, the contractor will be closing West Wooster, from Grove to Church streets, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting Monday. The road will reopen to one-way eastbound traffic during overnight hours.

On June 12, the contractor will close West Wooster, from Grove to Church, and the intersection of West Wooster and Church to finish underground sewer connections and to install a manhole in the intersection. It is anticipated that West Wooster will reopen to eastbound one-way traffic and the intersection will reopen by June 16.

Local access will remain throughout both closures.

North Grove, West Merry intersection closes Monday in BG

The North Grove Street and West Merry Avenue intersection will be closed Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. for a sanitary sewer manhole replacement.

BG councilmen Dennis, Rubando hold Ward 1 constituent meeting

Bowling Green Councilmen Jeff Dennis (at-large) and Nick Rubando (Ward 1) will be hosting a Ward 1 constituent meeting on Tuesday at Biggby Coffee, 215 E. Wooster St., beginning at 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

The purpose of this meeting will be to hear from residents about their priorities and concerns. Dennis and Rubando will also share information and answer any questions about ongoing initiatives.
