Enjoy reading and a pizza party at library

Families can meet an industrious little red hen who makes a pizza and shares it with her friends at the Wood County District Public Library’s “The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza (Party).”

Join WCDPL for books and pizza on Monday at 1 p.m. in Meeting Room A&B at the library, 251 N. Main St.

Hear the story of “The Little Red Hen (Makes a Pizza)” by Philemon Sturges and share pizza together with all of your library friends. No registration required.

June Business, Briefing & Brew at CRC

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business, Briefing & Brew on Wednesday from 8-9 a.m. at the Children’s Resource Center, 1045 Klotz Road.

Chamber investors are invited to enjoy fresh fruit and parfaits, network with peers, have a chance to win some prizes, and learn more about the CRC, which has been a part of Wood County for over 45 years.

Chat with Mayor Mackin in Perrysburg

PERRYSBURG — Perrysburg Mayor Tom Mackin will be available to talk with community members about what’s on their mind in his first Chatting with the Mayor event of the year.

Citizens and business leaders or anyone with a question for the mayor are encouraged to stop by this casual event and share their ideas or concerns.

It will be held at Get Healthy Nutrition, 126 W. South Boundary St. in the Country Charm Plaza, on June 10 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Family Game Days at the library

Families can gather together in the Children’s Place at the Wood County District Public Library this summer for Family Game Day.

Game Days are Saturdays, on June 10, July 1, July 15 and July 29 from 2-4 p.m.
