Myers talks education with Kiwanis Club

The Bowling Green Kiwanis will meet on Thursday at the Wood County Senior Center, 140 S Grove St. The public is welcome to attend. The meeting starts at noon and lunch is available starting at 11:30 a.m.

Eric Myers, retired educator, will talk about Pittsburgh-The City That Reinvented Itself. Myers grew up in Pittsburgh, attended Ohio Wesleyan University and after teaching three years in Monroeville, Ohio, settled in Bowling Green in 1972. He was a teacher and administrator for 28 years for the Bowling Green City Schools before teaching for 23 years at Bowling Green State University. Currently he is the pastor for Kansas UMC and St. Paul’s UMC in Risingsun.
