To the Editor:
God has used – of all things — a beer can to turn the tide in America. How funny. Reports are that Bud Light went woke — and then broke.
Losing $5 billion dollars in value trying to push their political agenda by putting an image of a transvestite (not transgender) woman on their beer cans. I wrote a letter to the editor in September, stating “This country is going to hell in a handbasket. For now. This will suddenly switch as God intervenes.” Well, it appears that “suddenly” has arrived.
Finally, after two painful, destructive, unfathomable years of the Joe Biden presidency, people have had enough. Hallelujah.
With their pocketbooks, millions of hardworking, beer-drinking, everyday patriotic citizens have spoken loud and clear that politics do not belong in the marketplace. These Americans are fed up with having political agendas pushed down their throats, particularly the LGBTQ agenda, considering they are typically the pro-family and pro-American backbone of this country.
Bud Light recklessly forgot that they are also consumers who were their bread and butter. I applaud them and encourage all Americans who believe in traditional values to stand up and follow suit. It appears that “we the people,” everyday patriots who love our country, will lead the way in taking back our country from the insidious, ridiculous woke agenda destroying America today.
As one of millions of Christians who have been praying for this reversal of the woke, one-world nonsense, it couldn’t come soon enough. And I marvel at how God has orchestrated it, using none other than a beer can. Just when I think I cannot be shocked any more, He has definitely shocked me, but in such a way that it makes me laugh out loud. What an awesome God we serve. Another example that the message of the Bible is true: what Satan means for evil, God means for good. God takes bad intentions and turns them around for good, especially to ‘save many people’ (Genesis 50:20). Read the story of Joseph as recorded in Genesis 50:15-21. A glorious representation of God’s M.O. – Modus Operandi – His habitual way of operating.
No wonder the liberal left loonies are trying so hard to get rid of God in American culture. Good luck with that.
