PERRYSBURG — The Lucas County Retired Teachers are gathering on April 13 at noon at the Belmont Country Club. 29601 Bates Road.
Stephanie Kadel Taras will be the guest speaker. She is an educator, author and owner of Time Pieces Personal Biographies, an Ann Arbor, Michigan, company that helps people write and publish their life stories and family histories. She will be giving practical advice and inspiration to save memories.
The Community Partner for April is Leading Families Home. Items needed are: Gift cards from Walmart, Kroger, House of Meats; gas cards; socks (all sizes); towels, laundry baskets, pillows and silverware.
The luncheon entree choices include scallopini of chicken breast with a tuscan cream sauce, beef burgundy served on noodles or mushroom risotto with grilled fresh vegetables (vegetarian). Entrees will be served with duchess potato, bundled fresh haricot vertes, spring salad, rolls/butter, dessert, iced tea, lemonade and coffee.
