BGSU Cherry Blossom Fest celebrates Japanese culture

The 22nd Ohanami Cherry Blossom Festival will be held April 2 from noon-4 p.m. at the Lenhart Grand Ballroom, Bowen-Thompson Student Union on the Bowling Green State University campus.

It is free and open to the public. The festival is presented by the BGSU Japanese Club and the Asian Studies Program.

The indoor activities include caricatures, Japanese calligraphy, origami, traditional Japanese games, water games: yoyo and super balls, kimono try-ons, Ikebana — flower arranging, a tea ceremony with tea tasting, Taiko performance, martial arts demonstrations, tap dance, Bon-odori and sushi tasting and authentic Japanese refreshments.
