OAK HARBOR — A 16-year-old Bradner teen died Tuesday after she reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign.

The three-vehicle crash occurred on Ohio 163 at North Toussaint Portage Road at 12:08 p.m., according to the Sandusky post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Skylar Roberts, 16, Bradner, driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, failed to yield and was struck by an eastbound 1996 Kenworth commercial truck driven by John Kunkel, 58, Howard, Ohio, according to the patrol.

Both vehicles went off the north side of Route 163, and struck the westbound 2020 Ford van driven by Michael Hudson, 36, Bedford.

Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kunkel and Hudson had minor injuries and were transported to Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Roberts and Kunkel were wearing their seatbelts; Hudson was not, according to the patrol.
