Women’s Club of BG announces return of writing contest

Resumption of the Women’s Club Writing Contest for youth in grades 1-12 has begun with distribution of materials to Bowling Green public and parochial schools.

Information is available in the Children’s Place in the Wood County District Library, 251 N. Main St.

Original works of prose and poetry are judged by members of Women’s Club and awards are given to first, second and third place at every grade level in each category.

Deadline for entries is March 19. This year will mark the 38th year that Women’s Club has conducted this contest.
