The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team’s game on March 1 has been selected by ESPN for a national broadcast.

The Falcons’ contest vs. Ball State University at the Stroh Center will air on ESPNU, with the start time moved to 5 p.m.

The Falcons are 22-3 overall and 11-2 in the Mid-American Conference. BGSU is currently tied for second place, a game behind the Cardinals (22-4, 12-1 MAC).

The BSU game will be the Falcon women’s basketball program’s first nationally-televised contest since the 2021 MAC Tournament championship game vs. Central Michigan, which was aired by CBS Sports Network (March 13, 2021).

The contest vs. the Cardinals will be the Falcons’ first regular-season game to be televised nationally in over 14 years, since a game at Western Michigan on Feb. 7, 2009.
