Patrick J. Gallagher, 63, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 29, 1959 to John and Bette Lou (Allen) Gallagher. Pat graduated from Genoa High School and owned and operated Pat & Son Towing for 43 years. He most of all enjoyed working, helping people and making them laugh, spending time with his family, fishing and traveling with his wife, Sue on their motorcycles.
Pat is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan K. “Sue”; children, James P. (Jessica) Gallagher and Ashley K. (Gerald) Lathrop; grandchildren, Damien, Gage, Gerald Jr., Corbin, Maycie and Maverick, siblings, Mike (Pam) Gallagher, Molly (Gene) Tomaszewski, William (Paula) Gallagher and John Gallagher. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Kathleen, Mary Louise and Jodette Marie.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday February 16, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday February 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Please feel free to dress comfortable as Pat wouldn’t have it any other way. Expressions of sympathy in Pat’s name may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
