Bowling Green wrestler Daniel Fields earned his 100th career victory this Friday against Upper Sandusky.

The Bobcats defeated Caledonia River Valley, 45-21, and Upper Sandusky, 66-9, in a tri-meet.

Winning for the Bobcats against River Valley were Cohen Lewis, Michael Fry-Casares, Landon Deiter, Fields, Paul Archer, Colton Keefe, Jacob Baumgardner, and Dominick Burch.

Woodmore 53, Lakota 30

ELMORE—Brady Thatcher scored 20 points and Luke Morris scored 15 to lead Woodmore to a 53-30 non-league boys basketball victory over visiting Lakota Saturday.

Woodmore led by just four, 11-7, after one quarter but the Wildcats did not allow the Raiders to score a single second quarter field goal in taking a 26-8 halftime lead.

Jayson Bennington scored seven points, Mitchell Rosser scored five, and Jalen Wagner, Carson Hill, and Jacob Newell scored three points apiece for the Raiders.

Collin Zender, Drew Matz, and Mitch McDaid added two points apiece for the Raiders.

For the Wildcats, Jack Everett scored seven points, Liam McCarthy scored three and Quentin Trevino, Preston Sorg, Mitch Gillig, and Izaiah Wilson added two points apiece.

Woodmore, which will join Lakota next year in the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division, is 7-12 while Lakota drops to 2-16.

Tournament tickets

The Ohio High School Athletic Association postseason basketball tournaments are about to get underway, with all roads leading to the state tournaments at the University of Dayton arena in March.

Girls and boys state tournament tickets went on sale Monday at www.OHSAA.org/tickets, which is also the home for all sectional, district and regional tournament tickets.

The girls statewide tournament draw was Jan. 29, and sectional tournaments begin Monday, Feb. 6.

The boys statewide tournament draw was Feb. 5, with sectional tournaments getting underway next Monday, Feb. 13.

The girls state tournament is March 9-11, while the boys state tournament is March 17-19.
