PORT CLINTON — Eastwood held off a fierce Port Clinton rally which saw the Redskins scored 27 points over the final eight minutes for a 64-61 Eagle non-league victory Saturday.

Eastwood improves to 11-5 while PC falls to 8-8. Eastwood senior guard Case Boos hit five three-point shots and scored 28 points to lead the Eagles.

Noah Smith scored 11 points, Brady Weaver scored 10 points, Andrew Badenhop scored seven, Tristan Schuerman scored five and Kadyn Donnell added three points for the Eagles.

Eastwood had a total of 10 three-point goals with Smith hitting two and Schuerman, Donnell and Badenhop connecting on one apiece. Three were in Eastwood’s 22-point third quarter, including two by Boos.

Eastwood led 18-14 after one quarter, 31-22 at the half, and 42-34 entering the fourth stanza. Eastwood had eight turnovers and PC had 11.

For PC, Adam Thorbahn scored a team-high 22 points, Jackson Beasley scored 20, Nolan Chambers scored 10, Cameron Gillum scored five, and Owen Auxter added four points.

The Redskins had eight treys, including three by Beasley, two each by Chambers and Thorbahn and one from Gillum. The Redskins were 9-for-14 from the charity stripe, Eastwood was 10-for-14.
