A man was found unresponsive and not breathing at a city business Thursday.

At approximately 3 a.m., Bowling Green police responded to Vehtek, 2125 Woodbridge Blvd., for a male subject lying unresponsive and not breathing in the parking lot.

The driver door to a Honda was open and the officer observed an employee with an AED, but due to the rainy weather, it was not usable, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Chest compressions were started and when a second officer arrived on scene, rescue breaths were implemented, according to the report.

BG EMS took over life-saving measures and were able to get a pulse.

A wallet found in the vehicle identified the man as a Portage resident.

BGPD detectives will be following up on this incident.
