Jackalean Luann Riggs, 68, of McClure, Ohio passed away on January 11, 2023 at Regency Hospital, Toledo. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 26, 1954 to Theodore and Elisabeth (Dickes) Gray. Jackie met the love of her life, Gale Riggs, and they married on April 13, 1981 in Grand Rapids, Ohio.
Jackie loved to quilt, sew and enjoyed arts and crafts, especially colored pencil drawing. She was known for her cooking, canning and baking, and even wrote a couple of cookbooks. Jackie liked to spend time in her garden and tending her flowers. She enjoyed traveling to Amish county and spending time with her grandkids and family.
Jackie is survived by her children, Shannon (Rhonda) Rhoads, Rae Lynn Riggs, Veronica “Ronnie” Hooker, and Raymond “Dan” Riggs; grandchildren, Gavin (Kylie Ezell) Desgrange, Kalei Rhoads, Noel Riggs, Savanna Boyer, Tyler (Brittany) Seegert, Keisha Peterson, Anasue Ludeman, Angelea (Jeremy) Remwolt, Raymond Riggs, Jr., Ariella Riggs, Dustin Riggs, and Ammie Riggs; 19 great grandchildren; and sister, Louise Carrol. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gale; and siblings, Charles Gray and Lenore Greig.
A memorial gathering will be held at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, McClure, on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 2:00 PM.
