North Baltimore High School

NORTH BALTIMORE — Leah Rader was chosen as the North Baltimore High School Student of the Month for January.

She excels in all areas of academics, knows how to prioritize her time and has taken the initiative to be in multiple leadership roles at NBHS.

She takes dual enrollment classes, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and has completed job shadows to explore career interests.

Rader is a member of volleyball, drama club, publicationsand swing choir. She is also the president of National Honor Society, vice president of both Paws for a Cause and student council, and is the cheer captain. She has also earned numerous awards, from the Legion Citizenship Award to the Tiger Spirit Award to All-Academic BVC. She also works part time job.

She plans to attend Miami University to major in accounting and pursue a career in tax accounting.

Otsego Elementary School

TONTOGANY — The Students of the Month for December at Otsego Elementary have been announced.

They are kindergarteners Luke Glassford, Eilee Sautter, Henry VanderVlucht, Bradley Bucksky and Morris Anderson; first graders Isaac Slauterbeck, Clara Boros, Ripken Jeremy, Joel Cordonnier and Mason Baker; second graders Emme Bilanow, Madelyn Sheeks, Kellher Arp, Josie Gearhart and Noah Ryan; third graders Kameri Green, Robert DeLong, Nathan Vogelsong, Carter Reitz, Clara Euler and Scarlet Connell; fourth graders Zeke Hanhold, Seirra Roberts, Ethan Bradford, Myles Bruss and Nicole Fortney; and fifth graders Brynlee Schwab, Jack Burris, Piper Simpson, Bauer Fausnaugh and Amelia Richards.
