Two Bowling Green men have been arrested for felony burglary.

On Saturday around 3:15 a.m., Bowling Green police were dispatched to the 300 block of Colony Lane for a burglary in progress.

The caller stated two men had broken into the apartment with a firearm, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Officers arriving on scene did not locate anyone in the area but learned the two men in the apartment were Jordan Desola, 25, and Bryce Hughes, 24.

A woman told police that Desola and Hughes were on their way to beat up a man in the apartment. The man was watching his children.

The woman said she drove to the apartment and when she parked the vehicle, the men approached her car and Desola “cocked” a gun at her. She and another woman got into the apartment and grabbed the babies when the men reportedly forced their way into the apartment.

The man inside the apartment locked himself into a room with one of the babies.

Desola and Hughes were apprehended.

While in the backseat of a patrol vehicle, Hughes reportedly started kicking the back seat. The officer shined a flashlight through the window and saw that he had blood on his face and there was blood splattered on the window.

After being treated at the hospital, Hughes was taken to jail. Desola was also taken to jail.

Both men were released Monday after posting a $2,000 bond with the conditions they have no contact with each other or the alleged victim.
