Port authority meets Tuesday

The Wood County Port Authority will meet Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. at Northwestern Water & Sewer District, 12560 Middleton Pike.

Montgomery Twp. reorganizes

BRADNER — At the Jan. 3, reorganizational meeting, Alfred “Tim” Rubel was elected chairman of the Montgomery Township Trustees. Jerry L. Houtz Jr. was elected vice-chairman, and Robert D. Gonyer is the third trustee.

Sandra K. Rubel is the fiscal officer.

The Montgomery Township Trustees meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Township Building at 1950 Mermill Road.

Every meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and the public is welcome.

Gonyer will oversee the Graham Cemetery operations and Rubel will oversee the Bradner Cemetery operations.

Houtz will be the liaison to the village fire departments and the trustee representative on the board of the South East Ambulance District.

Jamie Harman continues as the township road superintendent/cemetery sexton.
