PERRYSBURG — Bowling Green State University Volaré will present the concert, “As Long as We Live: We are Love” on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Ave.

After a 22-year hiatus, Volaré has been invited to perform this program at the prestigious Ohio Music Educators Association conference in early February. This performance at Zoar is part of their NW/NE Ohio pre-conference tour.

All are invited to this free concert as BGSU’s only soprano/alto ensemble shares this celebratory message of love, perseverance and togetherness. A reception will follow.

The Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra, featuring music director and conductor Travis Jürgens, will be performing at Zoar on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be the first of the Michael Moody Chamber series. The theme of “Music She Wrote” is unique to this series and will highlight three women composers of different eras including classical, contemporary, and romantic American.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors. Students are free. Purchase at the door or online at perrysburgsymphony.org.
