Wilma Jean Jennings, 91, of Grand Rapids, Ohio passed away January 3, 2023.
Wilma was born on August 28, 1931 in Whitehouse, Ohio to the late John Albert and Audrey (Brown) Freeworth. She married Marvin Wilson Jennings and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Wilma graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1949. She was a long time member of the Sportsman Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Grand Rapids. Wilma was proud to be a farmer.
Wilma is survived by her daughters Karen Jennings and Marilyn Bostelman, both of Grand Rapids; brothers Harold Freeworth and JR “Joe” Freeworth; and special companions Boo and Sunshine.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, infant son Malvin Jennings, and infant sister Rea Rae Freeworth.
Memorial contributions in Wilma’s honor may be gifted to the First Presbyterian Church, 17700 Beaver St., Grand Rapids, OH 43522; or Nature’s Nursery, 7790 County Road 152, Whitehouse, OH 43571.
In honor of Wilma’s wishes, private graveside services were held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
