VIDEO: Elmwood students tour courthouse

Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Matt Reger led Elmwood Middle School sixth-graders on a tour of the Wood County Courthouse Monday. Reger shared with students a short history on the courthouse and discussed how the courtroom functions. Students also visited the offices of the board of elections, county treasurer, auditor, emergency management, prosecutor and the county commissioners. Reger hopes students leave with a better understanding of how local government works and how it works. (Video by J.D. Pooley/Sentinel-Tribune)
