A public event to help celebrate and sendoff the Bowling Green State University football team prior to the Quick Lane Bowl is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. at Schmidthorst Heritage Hall inside the Stroh Center.
The BGSU community and fans will have a chance to meet the 2022 BGSU football team and coaching staff, take pictures and get complimentary bowl posters signed prior to Saturday’s men’s basketball game against UT-Martin at 2 p.m.
Fans do not need a ticket to attend the sendoff. Only Lot AA will be restricted to donor parking. All remaining parking in Stroh Center lots will be free.
Those who hold tickets to Saturday’s men’s basketball game will be able to move to their seats in time for the game, and attendees without game tickets can also purchase discount tickets at the event.
The 2022 BGSU football team will be recognized during the first half of Saturday’s men’s basketball game.
BGSU plays New Mexico State in the 2022 Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit. Tickets are on sale for $40.
