BASCOM — Perrysburg swept Clay, 25-17, 25-13, 25-15, in a Division I district semifinal at Hopewell-Loudon High School Monday.
For Perrysburg, Wrigley Takats had nine kills and six blocks, Sara Pahl had 15 kills, and Giana Frayer had about 38 assists and five service aces.
Clay’s season ends at 14-11. The Yellow Jackets (18-6) advance to take on Toledo St. Ursula (18-4), which swept Fremont Ross Monday, 25-16, 25-21, 25-15.
The Yellow Jackets and Arrows will play at Hopewell-Loudon Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the district final and the right to advance to the regional tournament.
Eastwood 3, Archbold 0
TONTOGANY — Eastwood swept Archbold, 25-15, 25-20, 25-13, in a Division III district semifinal at Otsego High School Monday.
Archbold’s season ends at 19-5. Eastwood (19-5) advances to take on Sherwood Fairview (23-2), the Green Meadows Conference champions which defeated Swanton, 25-16, 18-25, 25-19, 25-16 Monday.
The Eagles and Apaches will meet in the district final Wednesday at 6 p.m. for the right to advance to the regional tournament.
