A Weston man has been indicted for rape and a Bradner man has been indicted for having sexual contact with a minor.

On Oct. 19, a Wood County grand jury indicted Sid Tyler Serrato, 30, Weston, for rape, a first-degree felony.

On May 4, he is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with someone whose ability to resist or consent were substantially impaired because of a mental or physical condition or because of advanced age.

The indictment also indicates Serrato allegedly knew the person’s ability to consent or resist was impaired.

Serrato is currently under supervision or probation through Bowling Green Municipal Court.

Duane C. Kern, 81, Bradner, was indicted for gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony.

From Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2016, when he was in his mid-70s, he allegedly had sexual contact with someone who turned 11 years old in February 2015.
