Toledo man arrested for improperly handling a firearm

A Toledo man was arrested for improperly handling a firearm in a vehicle after an incident in a Bowling Green drive-thru.

Bowling Green Police Division officers were called to a restaurant in the 1400 block of East Wooster Street on Sunday at 4:15 a.m. for a criminal mischief complaint.

Someone in a vehicle in the drive-thru had reportedly thrown a bottle from the window.

An officer approached the driver and noticed the smell of marijuana, according to the report.

Police reportedly found a Glock 31 .357 with 14 rounds of ammunition and a bag of 25.9 grams of marijuana in the vehicle.

Romario Mitchell, 20, Toledo, was arrested for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and carrying concealed weapons. He was taken to jail.

Terryon Mitchel, 18, Toledo was cited for possession of marijuana and driving without a license.
