SYLVANIA — Hannah Craig (Perrysburg) and Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore) shot rounds of 89 and 95 to lead Lourdes University women’s golf team to a third-place finish at its Gray Wolf Invitational on Monday.
In the final home match at Sylvania Country Club, the Gray Wolves posted a round of 350, 10 shots ahead of Madonna University in the field of nine schools.
Ohio Northern won the tournament at 335, one stroke ahead of runner-up Ohio Dominican.
Emma Mulder (Bedford, Mich.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with an 83 to finish in a tie for fifth-place individually while Tina Kindler (Fort Wayne, Ind.) added a top-10 finish with her tie for 10th after carding an 85.
Morgan Altenbach (Lima Shawnee) fired an 88 while Shauna White (Somerset Sheridan) and posted a round of 94.
Quirine ter Meulen of Rio Grande was the medalist with a six-over par round of 78 on the 5,897-yard layout, winning by two strokes over Grace Honigford of Ohio Northern.
Lourdes will head to the 36-hole Beaver Fall Classic on Saturday and Sunday at Bluffton Golf Club.
