Geraldine “Gerry” M. Levorchick, age 87, of Gibsonburg and formerly of Stony Ridge, OH passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Bay Park Hospital, Oregon, OH. She was born on July 8, 1935 in DeFuniak Springs, FL to Peter and Velma (Hamilton) Faykosh. She married Stephen “Steve” K. Levorchick, on August 11, 1956 in Hernando, MS. Gerry and Steve have raised 3 children and celebrated over 62 years of marriage before Steve’s passing in 2018.

In addition to being a homemaker and taking care of her family, Gerry worked as an office administrator at the Stony Ridge branch of the Pemberville Library for 10 plus years, the Goodyear Luckey Plant another 10 years and was a professional cake decorator as well. She taught cake decorating to local individuals at Eastwood High School and at the Penta Career Center. Her memberships included: St. John’s Lutheran Church, Troy-Webster American Legion Auxiliary Unit #240, the bunco club, Hidden Hills Golf Club, just to name a few. Gerry had a love of golfing especially with Steve, they also enjoyed country line dancing together. Gerry loved to “get together with the girls” from bunco. However, her greatest love was her family.

Gerry is survived by her children; Cynthia Lynne Levorchick of Gibsonburg, Stephen John (Lori) Levorchick of Catawba Island, 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Brother, Paul (Pat) Faykosh of New Rochester, sisters: Nell Long, Rose (Don) King both of Rising Sun and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Steve, she was preceded in death by her daughter; Shawn Roberts, great-grandsons and her parents.

Family and friends will be received 4-7 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 W. Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022 from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH with an additional time of visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Pr. Mike Hughes. Interment will be in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey, OH. Memorial contributions may take the form of contributions to: Troy-Webster American Legion Auxiliary Unit #240 or St. John’s Lutheran Church.
